Alexander SmitCFP®, CPA

Alexander Smit is an Associate Investment Advisor at Withum Wealth Management. He received both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of professional Accountancy, MPAcc from Clemson University and holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. In his current role as Associate Wealth Advisor with WWM, he conducts in-depth portfolio review and analysis for prospective clients.

As a member of the financial planning team, Lex extends his services directly to clients by performing wealth analysis. Lex began his career at BDO USA, LLP, the 5th largest public accounting firm globally offering a comprehensive array of assurance, tax, and business advisory services. During his time at BDO USA, Lex was an associate auditor, where he helped clients strengthen the value of their businesses while improving investor confidence.

Lex has a passion for sports; in particular watching the Clemson Tigers play in Death Valley. He enjoys being outside on the beach or hiking through the mountains.
